Who Are We?

We are a 501-c3 evangelistic ministry. We help the Christian community to understand and do evangelistic outreach so they can fulfill Christ’s mandate in the Great Commission as written in the scripture. (Matthew 28:19-20) We look to serve united as Christians to come together as one people in one movement focused on Christ.

Meet The Founders

Rev. David B. Almond has pastored three churches and done graduate work in Biblical studies at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Ca. David also has a Master of Arts degree in computer-based education.

He is a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Navy from 1972-1975.  He served a portion of his time aboard the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk.  David is the author of a book entitled A Sailor’s Story in Black and White, Battle for the Hawk, which chronicles the race riot aboard that carrier in Oct. of 1972.

David has been an educator and prison chaplain. He has been on two homeless shelter mission staffs, one in Los Angeles, where he oversaw career and adult education, and in Sioux Falls, South Dakota as Director of Men’s Programs.

Janice Almond is an author, former first lady in ministry, retired English teacher, and former community college professor. She formerly served as the Outreach Director for the Union Gospel Mission in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

She has traveled around Europe, joined Toastmasters, Inc., and received two master’s degrees in education. Teaching, public speaking, and conducting workshops are her passion. Reaching the “lost” those who do not know Christ personally is what motivates Janice and gives her the most joy.

Janice’s heart for evangelism keeps her often on the streets passing out gospel tracts, daily praying for others, and witnessing to them about God’s goodness and salvation.

David and his wife Janice have been married for forty-five years, have four grown children, and nine grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with family and friends in the East, Central, and West coast of the United States. David and Janice have a passion for sharing the Gospel and discipling through writing, singing, street witnessing, and one on one relationships. They have a strong desire to see the Church become one in purpose (John 13:34-35) and a commitment to carry out the “Great Commission” (Matthew 28:19-20).
