ARE YOU SEARCHING?

By June 7, 2021 No Comments

Does it appear that something is wrong with the world, and you are wondering what is on the horizon? Do you have a gut feeling things are not what they appear? That your reality is a manufactured “Truman Show”, and truth is arbitrarily made up by the powers that be? There are a lot of competing answers to questions from science, philosophies, and religions, but which one is true?

You can feel somewhere out there is TRUTH, and life is more than just what our 5 senses experience. Jesus said, “I AM the WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE; no one comes to the Father but through Me (John 14:6 NASB).”

John, one of Jesus’ disciples who was an eyewitness for three and ½ years then later became an Apostle, speaks of Jesus when he states, “In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it (John 1:4-5 CSB).”

You see, God the Father of all creation made our world and everything in it good; however, evil through a fallen angel—Lucifer (aka Satan—the devil) corrupted our world and brought evil into it. This act made the human race fallen (born in sin), separated from God and all that was good. It was a result of rebellious choices of the first man—Adam, and first woman—Eve from whom the human race sprang from. God made mankind, both male and female, in His image, placing us in the highest order of His creation (Genesis 1:27). Unfortunately, the image has been tarnished by the corruption of sin with disastrous consequences (Genesis 3:1-19).

The Apostle Paul writes, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23 CSB). God did not abandon us to our fallen state. He could have destroyed the human race but instead showed grace (favor we did not deserve) and mercy (sympathy or pity). God had a plan to restore all things by becoming one of us through His Son Jesus Christ who paid our penalty of death for all time due to the rebellion of Adam and Eve against God—their sin having been passed on to all humanity (Romans 3:23). To demonstrate God’s love and concern for humanity the Apostle John writes, “For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God” (John 3:16-18 CSB).

Jesus Christ (the anointed Lord who is Savior) the Messiah, lived a sinless life, showed both the Jew and non-Jew the way to restored relationship with Father God, died on our behalf, then rose alive from the dead, guaranteeing that all who believe in him will become children of God and have eternal life (John 1:12).

We, at Lost Lives Matter, want to invite you to join God’s family by accepting these words from the Apostle Paul, “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:9-10 CSB). Once you make this confession, the Holy Spirit will dwell in your heart to help you remain in your Christian faith until the end of this life or until the return of Christ- for the Bible says, “In him you also were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed. The Holy Spirit is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:13-14 CSB).

If you have made a decision to accept Jesus Christ into your heart we want to encourage you to find a local Christian church congregation near you. Introduce yourself to the pastor and or leadership of the congregation and let them know of your decision, so you can be mentored and grow spiritually in your relationship with Jesus Christ. You will need to be baptized according to the command of Jesus Christ in (Matthew 28:19.)

This is a wonderful and marvelous decision you have made that changes your life forever. The Apostle Paul also sums up this truth about the life of Jesus Christ with these words from a hymn of the early church when he states, “The mystery of godliness is great: ‘He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory’ (1 Timothy 3:16 CSB). We are currently living in the End Times of the history of man. The return of the Lord Jesus is near. We must share the good news to everyone who is searching for the TRUTH because LOST LIVES MATTER!
